Global retailer looks for Merchandising Manager (Fresh food) to be based in South China. It is a national-wide position in the company and a great opportunity to have positive and significant impact on this reputed and high-growth company.

Responsibilities:
- Set strategy and direction for national –wide fresh food merchandising projects.
- Supervise the work of a team of approximately 4-6 merchandisers.
- Improve the existing merchandising procedure and identify gaps in current inventory offering in order to influence store sales.
- Identify market opportunities based on market trends and consumer’s preference.
- Liaison with local merchandising team to ensure the best of types and categories of fresh food are provided to customers.
- Responsible for supply chain management and inventory, participate inventory monthly/quarterly review and build efficient and effective inventory channels.

Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above.
- 8+ years professional experience in merchandising functions with at least 5 years in supervisory level. Retail experience preferred, specially deep exposure to merchandising projects management.
- Strong project and problem solving skills, with ability to manage multiple projects.
- Able to build strong relationships and effectively contribute on cross-functional teams.
- Ability to team with others, deal positively with ambiguity and drive results
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
